Base is not "the normal fare." It is the budget tradeoff fare. It can look attractive at first glance, but it may come with stricter rules, a later dining window, less flexibility, and fewer ways to fix the booking later.
Lock It In Rate: It may make sense only when savings matter more than cabin-location control, cabin choice, and flexibility. If cabin comfort matters to you, this should not be your first click.
Virgin Voyages Pay-In-Full Discount Explained
Virgin Voyages’ Pay In Full discount requires booking 365 days in advance, offering 10% off voyage fares for eligible cabins when paid upfront.
Eligibility Requirements
To receive the Pay-In-Full discount, a booking must meet the following conditions:
The reservation must be made at least 365 days before the sailing date.
The entire invoice must be paid within two hours of booking.
The Pay-In-Full option must be selected during the checkout process.
The payment must cover the full invoice amount, including the voyage fare, taxes, fees, and optional voyage protection.
Applicable Discounts
The 10% reduction applies only to the voyage fare. Taxes, fees, and optional add-ons such as shore excursions are not discounted.
The Pay-In-Full discount can also be combined with several other offers that Virgin Voyages commonly runs throughout the year, including percentage-off-the-second-sailor promotions and placeholder credits.
